ACCELERATED EXAM PACK - ADVANCED

This exam pack is designed to assist students in year 6 prepare for an Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) entrance exam, a Select Entry Accelerated Learning Program (SEALP) entrance exam, or a year 7 scholarship exam. It contains 3 FULL exams and FULLY worked answers.

Who Is This Pack Designed For?

This pack is designed for students who are currently in year 6 hoping to gain entry into a year 7 Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) or Select Entry Accelerated Learning Program (SEALP). It can also be used to prepare students for year 7 scholarship exams.

Generally, schools which run the SEALP or other accelerated learning programs will use an exam to determine entry which is structured as follows:

• Numerical Reasoning;
• Verbal Reasoning;
• Mathematical Reasoning;
• Reading Comprehension; and
• Written Expression.

If your child is year 6 and is sitting an exam for entrance into a year 7 SEALP or ALP and the sections are the same as the ones listed above then this exam pack is for you!

We've found that students who have had minimal practice in doing timed exam style questions tend to benefit from completing all the components of this exam package. This combined with our detailed answers could give students that extra edge they need for exam day.

Also, students who have completed a course in preparation for a SEALP or ALP exam (such as the one Spectrum Tuition offers) find this pack useful as it gives them an opportunity to sit up to three full length exams in the comfort of their own home before the actual day. Our advanced package will also include full detailed answers to support your child understand why certain questions were answered incorrectly.

What Do You Receive In This Pack?

The advanced package will include:

• 3 x Full length numerical reasoning exams;
• 3 x Full length verbal reasoning exams;
• 3 x Full length mathematical reasoning exams
• 3 x Full length reading comprehension exams
• 6 x Writing Prompts (3 creative, 3 persuasive); and
• FULLY WORKED answers to all sections (not including the writing section).
